One of the most expressive ways to honor someone is to inscribe their name on the Tree of Life located at the entrance to our synagogue- a most meaningful tradition of our Jewish heritage.
This personalized engraved leaf, stone, or dove provides an opportunity to permanently recognize family members and friends on special occasions– such as weddings, birthdays, baby namings, b’nai mitzvah, anniversaries, and the like.

At this time, our yizkor memorial board in the lobby is full. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the synagogue by purchasing a plaque. We are working diligently to expand the board to include space for the loved ones of all who wish to have a plaque for them in the synagogue. If you would like to contribute to our yizkor board expansion, please contact Matt Oziel in the office or by email at moziel@shaaretorah.org.

Refunds are given at the discretion of the administration and/or Executive Committee of Shaare Torah. Should you have a question about a refund, please contact our office at 301-869-9842.
Should Shaare Torah cancel an event or class due to weather or low attendance your money will be refunded in full.
There is no refund given for donations to Shaare Torah.
Shaare Torah may change this policy from time to time in its discretion. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
