The Kentlands Community Foundation Tree & Menorah Lighting has been bringing joy and spreading cheer for years throughout Gaithersburg and surrounding areas. This annual community event, viewed by many as the “official” start of the holiday season, attracts people of all ages with its winter-filled delights and picturesque setting. It is a can’t miss evening on everyone’s calendar!

This winter night of FREE, family-friendly festivities at Kentlands Market Square includes a holiday-themed concert, hot chocolate bar, ornament making, and of course… a visit from Santa Claus himself (arriving in style on his very own FIRE TRUCK; courtesy of the Rockville Fire Department)! Special Guest, Gaithersburg Mayor Jud Ashman, will do us the honor of lighting our tree and menorah as we kick-off this wonderful season.
