Lunch & Learn with Rotem Ur Soco
🗓 April 5th | During Kiddush Lunch
Join us for a heartfelt and inspiring talk with Rotem Ur Soco, former Shaare Torah Shlicha, as she shares her personal story of resilience, activism, and community support during times of war. Since October 7th, Rotem has been deeply involved in grassroots civil mobilization — from providing educational frameworks for evacuated children from the Gaza envelope to managing support networks for over 14,000 partners, mothers, and sisters of military personnel. She has also been actively raising awareness for the hostages and volunteering in initiatives to help evacuated Kibbutzim rediscover a sense of home.
About Rotem:
Rotem, 29, is a passionate middle school teacher and lifelong educator. She grew up in a small Conservative community in the Galilee and has spent years building connections with Jewish communities around the world. Today, she lives in Tel Aviv with her husband Tomer and enjoys reading, hiking, and meeting new people. As a former Shaare Torah Shlicha, Rotem is very excited to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new members of our community.
Don’t miss this chance to hear her story and connect over Kiddush lunch.
