Ta’anit Bechorot, or the Fast of the Firstborn, commemorates God protecting firstborn Israelites during the last plague inflicted upon the ancient Egyptians. Join us for a Siyyum, (a special meal which happens after someone finishes a Talmud learning cycle) which can be a replacement for the fast. Sponsored by the Spiegel Family in honor of Ryan’s grandfather, Dr. George Spiegel

Guidelines for In-Person Services

  • Shabbat morning services begin at 9:30 AM and you are welcome to join us at any time.
  • Please access the building via the parking lot.
  • Please stay home if you are feeling ill and join us online.
  • Wearing a mask is optional while in the building.
  • In order to care for and protect one another, all who are eligible to be vaccinated for COVID-19 are expected to be vaccinated.
  • Kippot (head coverings) and Tallitot are always available, and we encourage you to bring your own if possible.

Sunday minyan and Minyan on Demand are accessible through Zoom at the link below. We welcome you to join us virtually, whether because of health needs or if you are on the road. We are always happy to connect with you in community to pray together, from home or in person.

Our Sunday minyan meets at Shaare Torah at 9:00 am on the first and third Sundays of each month. This welcoming service includes opportunities to sing and pray together and a vort or word of Torah. It is a nourishing way to start the new week.

Minyan on Demand (MOD)

We are pleased to offer a virtual Minyan On Demand to ensure our members can say Kaddish with a Minyan of their fellow community members. Minyan on Demand will be listed on our calendar and on the Homepage when scheduled, and can be accessed here.
